Today our Super Scientist used corn syrup, colored water, and vegetable oil to teach us about density.

Spanish Class

One of the many advantages of being in our district is the interaction between high school and elementary students. The fact that we have three junior sisters, teaching Spanish to their three first grade sisters, just makes it that much more FUN!

Our Super Scientist S.B. today did a great job showing us how salt can make and egg float, but a penny will not float, even when more salt is added. Great job Super Scientist!

Shells

Retired first grader teacher, Mrs. Bellinghausen, visited our classroom. She brought us shells and talked to us about the ocean habitat.
